On behalf of the Minors Council for Canada, I would like to congratulate the U20 team Canada as well as the coaches Ian Moores from Newfoundland, Jim Armstrong from British Columbia and Ian Poulson from Alberta, plus Mauro Cugini General Manager for a great job winning the gold medal in a hard fought 4-1 game against the Slovak's.

With the win, Canada now holds all 5 Championships, going back to last year when the men's and women’s teams won the gold medal in Germany, and 2 weeks ago when the U16 and U18 teams won in Zlovin Slovakia.

Congratulation to you all, the Canadian Ball Hockey Association and its members from across Canada are very proud of you all.
