Toronto, ON – Canadian Ball Hockey Association High Performance Program is pleased to announce Canada’s Men’s National Ball Hockey Team has already starting to take shape for 2011 and there will be some familiar faces heading into Bratislava, Slovakia for the ISBHF Men’s World Street & Ball Hockey Championships in 2011.

TORONTO, ON –  The Canadian Ball Hockey Association and its High Performance Family announced Thursday that 25 of Canada’s best men’s ball hockey players and 8 staff members are preparing their venture to the 8th World Ball Hockey Championships from June 13- 20, 2009 in the ball hockey mad city of Pilsen in the Czech Republic.

Our National Men's Ball Hockey Team is holding it's first regional camp in our efforts to regain the gold in 2009 in Plzen, Czech Republic. The camp takes place on April 25th to 27th in Mississauga, Ontario. A complete list of coaches, players and trainers attending the camp and all the information is now available.

The Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA) and Team Canada men’s ball hockey team is proud to announce the first of its scheduled camps for 2008. It will be taking place in Ontario on April 25-27, 2008, in Mississauga, Ontario, at the Cawthra Twin rinks complex. The biggest question on the Canadian side was how the team would replace its two most dominant forwards, and the top goaltender in the country, from the 2003 & 2005 WCs. NHL player Alex Burrows (Vancouver Canucks) has now retired from competitve street hockey to concentrate on his burgeoning hockey career, Benoit Gilbert was unable to attend, and veteran Michel Perodeau has retired from the national program.

The CBHA & Team Canada is proud to announce the final roster and stand-by players for our National Men's Ball Hockey Team. This group of players will be going for a fourth World title in a row at the 7th World Championships being held in Ratingen, Germany in June 2007.

Our National Men's Ball Hockey Team held its final tryout camp in Toronto the past weekend. This camp was a culmination of five Regional Camps held across Canada, thorough scouting of the Men's National "A" Championships in Montreal, the Western B & C in Winnipeg, MB, & Eastern B & C Championships in Cornerbrook, NL' in 2006.

On February 10-12, 2006, thirty-six players from all over Ontario converged on the Ultimate Sports Complex just north of Toronto.

The Herbert Carnegie Centennial Centre in North York was the site of the 2001 World Senior Championship this past June, where twelve players from Ontario played an instrumental role in Team Canada's gold medal victory over the Czech Republic, including the impressive play of rookie Brad Foote, of Belleville, who was a key member of the 2000 World Junior Champion Team Canada.
