Athletic activities are an important part of our youth’s life experiences and this is reflected in our long tradition of achievement in inter-provincial competition.
The streak is still alive. But not in the way that anyone expected. In the most unlikely of scenarios, reigning seven time National Champ’s Montreal Red Lite did not even make it to the Quarter Finals.
Ontario is finally back on top and not since 2004 has Ontario held the top prize in women’s ball hockey. And wow what a show the team from the Oshawa put on.
The Men’s B Western Canadian Championships returned to beautiful British Columbia for the second consecutive year. This year’s edition was held in Coquitlam, a suburb of Vancouver, and in direct view of the beautiful Coast Mountain Range.
On October 11, 2008, at Amazing Square in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, the Yamato Cup will be inaugurated with a 4-on-4 tournament featuring teams from Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan and Singapore.
